How do I report a member violation?

+

Click the ellipsis (three dots) on the user’s profile and click on ‘Report.’ Pick the appropriate reason from the list and provide a clear description of the violation. Our Customer Support team will then begin an investigation into your report.

Please note that reporting a member will automatically block that member, preventing them from communicating with you and from seeing your profile.

What is the difference between hiding and blocking?

+

Both hidden and blocked users are unable to see your profile in search results or from their member dashboard, but there are several major differences between these actions:

1) Hidden users can continue to send you messages and receive your messages. You cannot communicate with blocked users.

2) Hidden users can be unhidden. Blocked users cannot be unblocked.

3) On a web browser, the hide action can be performed from the ‘Interests’ section by hovering over the profile. The block action must be performed from a member’s profile or message thread.

4) Hiding a user can be considered a temporary action. Blocking a user is a permanent action.
