Sex trafficking is one of the fastest growing crimes in the world. According to the International Labor Organization, 4.8 million people are coerced into entering the commercial sex industry against their will each year. The internet has made it easier than ever for traffickers to profit from exploitation, everyday online communities are unwittingly used by predators to find clients and lure victims.
Seeking believes technology can also be used to disrupt human trafficking. In partnership with nonprofit organization, Freedom Light, Seeking is pledging its commitment to help end sexual exploitation.
Freedom Light partners with companies that are committed to the fight against human trafficking. The nonprofit develops anti-trafficking strategies in collaboration with law enforcement, experts, and victim service organizations to equip companies with evidence-based interventions designed to prevent crime, rescue victims, and apprehend criminals.
A portion of every dollar you spend on votes for the Seeking Calendar will benefit Freedom Light’s educational programs and efforts to combat human trafficking.
